Beyond The Build

Beyond The Build

Overview

Beyond the Build brings leaders together to explore how technology, innovation, capital, and community are shaping construction’s future.

About This Event

Construction is changing—but the bigger question is whether the way we lead, operate, invest, and collaborate is changing with it.

Beyond the Build: Leadership, Technology, and Innovation Driving the Next Generation of Construction brings together leaders from construction, technology, economic development, finance, business, and community leadership for a conversation that goes beyond the typical industry panel.

Hosted by ForgeOps at the Workscapes Showroom in Tampa, this event is designed to challenge assumptions about where the industry is headed—and what it will take to build stronger companies, stronger communities, and a stronger next generation of leaders.

The Conversation

Rather than another discussion about the latest software or industry buzzwords, we'll dig into the questions that have a much bigger impact on the future of construction:

  • What problems has the industry accepted as "just part of construction" that shouldn't be?
  • Are we building better companies—or simply bigger, more complicated ones?
  • Technology has never been more accessible, so why do businesses often feel more overwhelmed?
  • When organizations struggle, is it really a technology problem—or a leadership problem?
  • How will AI and emerging technology change the skills we value in the next generation?
  • What does trust look like between businesses, financial institutions, technology providers, communities, and public leaders?
  • Have we been optimizing for the wrong things?
  • If we could rethink the construction industry from the ground up, what would we do differently?
