No experience required. This improv comedy workshop is designed specifically for beginners.

What if I’m shy or nervous?

Don't worry, that's very common. The workshop is be supportive and low-pressure (no auditions or performances). Additionally, our instructor has designed the curriculum to help students get comfortable expressing their themselves in new environments.

What is the class size?

Class size is capped at 16 students to keep the experience personal and comfortable.

Question 4

What should I wear and how do I prepare?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in. No additional prep required — there’s no homework, memorizing lines, or materials to bring.

Will there be an Improv II workshop?

For those who want to continue, Jersey Improv Lab plans to offer an Improv II workshop.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets can be refunded up to 30 days before the 1st day of the workshop minus a $25 administrative fee. After that, tickets are non-refundable but you can transfer your spot to a friend — just let us know in advance by emailing hello@jerseyimprovlab.com.
