Mahjong Guided Play with Charleston Social at Black Dog Pub
Recently learned to play mahjong? This is a great next step for playing in a beginner-friendly space. Come for a fun afternoon with us!
Guided play is intended for players who are new to mahjong but have already had an introductory lesson such as our Mahjong 101 class. This is a great way to use your new mahjong skills in a friendly game. Black Dog Pub food and beverage are available for purchase including 2 for 1 drink specials!
There is no formal mahjong instruction at this event. This is simply a gathering of casual, beginner-friendly games at tables of four players.
Come solo or with friends and we will facilitate tables of 4 players. Coaches from Charleston Social will be on hand to answer questions and provide guidance as requested.
Tiles and table setups are provided. Simply show up and play!
Players must have their own offical 2026 NMJL card to play. Cards will be available for purchase onsite for $15 cash or Venmo accepted.
