DETAILS: The Sunscreen Film Festival, in partnership with The University of Tampa Film, Animation and New Media program, presents a special screening of Key of Bones: Curse of the Ghost Pirate.

Filmed on location in Key West in January 2026, Key of Bones is a fun supernatural pirate horror-comedy adventure combining ghosts, pirates, mystery, action, and humor against the backdrop of the Florida Keys.

Following its Key West premiere October 2–3, the film comes to The University of Tampa for this special Tampa screening.

The event also serves as a follow-up to the September 29 workshop, From Script to Cannes in 7 Months, which uses Key of Bones as a real-world case study to examine the process of taking an independent feature from screenplay through financing, production, post-production, international film markets, sales, and distribution.
