Read, reflect, and collaborate with educators as we explore practical strategies for preventing and responding to student behavior.
About this event:
Student behavior is one of the biggest challenges facing educators today, but lasting change requires more than a collection of classroom management strategies. Join educators from across Indiana for a six-week virtual book study of Up Yours by Kevin Dill. Together, we'll explore the "why" behind challenging behavior, discuss practical strategies that can be used immediately, and learn from one another's experiences in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Each week, participants will discuss a section of the book, reflect on real classroom and school-based scenarios, and leave with practical ideas to implement before the next session. Whether you work with preschoolers or high school students, you'll gain research-informed, relationship-centered strategies to prevent disruptive behavior, respond with confidence, and create environments where students can succeed.
Participants will finish the series with a deeper understanding of student behavior, a toolkit of practical strategies, and a professional learning network of educators committed to improving outcomes for students.
