Cultivating the City: Nate Ela in Conversation with Liesl Olson

Close out Perennial City: Experiments in Urban Gardens with an intimate conversation with key exhibition researcher. Nate Ela is Associate Professor of Law at Temple University of author of the forthcoming Cultivating the City: The Long Struggle to Put Land to Use (University of Chicago Press, 2027). He will join Hull-House Director Liesl Olson for a conversation about land use, Hull-House, gardening, and the history of public green spaces in Chicago. They will also consider how communities today can take action when it comes to how land around them is stewarded.
