Do I need to RSVP?

No. Walk in any time between 3 and 8. If you'd like to let us know you're coming so we can plan the food, there's an optional form on the event page, but it's not required.

Is it open to anyone?

Yes. Whether you already own an Outback, you're thinking about one, or you're just curious about the new model, you're welcome.

Does it cost anything?

No. The food, the drinks, and the test drives are all on us.

Can I bring my kids?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The reception is aimed at grown-ups, but families are welcome. If you want to check how a car seat fits in the new Outback, bring it along and we'll help.

What will be there?

Every available 2026 Outback trim, several outfitted with factory accessories, light food and cold drinks, product specialists to answer questions, and a service and parts representative on hand if you want to talk accessories or ownership.

Do I need an appointment to drive one?

No. Just come by and ask. We'll have vehicles ready to go.

What do I need to bring to test drive?

Accepted Answer

A valid driver's license, and you'll need to be at least 18. That's it.

Is this going to be a hard sell?

Accepted Answer

No. Drive it if you want to, or just look. There's no pressure to do anything but see the car.

How do I enter for a chance to win the gas cards?

Take a test drive of a new Outback at Sport Subaru South any time between Friday, August 14 and Sunday, August 16. That enters you automatically.

How can I win gas cards?

Accepted Answer

Test drive between August 14 and 16 and you'll be entered for a chance to win one of three gas cards: $450 for first, $350 for second, and $250 for third.

Question 13

How can I win free car payments?

Accepted Answer

Purchase or lease a new, 2026 Subaru Outback between August 14 and August 31 and you will be entered for a chance to win up to three months of your car payments: three months for first, two for second, one for third. Each monthly payment is covered up to $600.

Is there a limit on the payment amount?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each covered monthly payment is capped at $600, or your actual monthly payment if it's lower.

Can I enter without driving or buying anything?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Both giveaways have a free mail-in entry option, and it counts exactly the same as any other entry. The full instructions are in the Official Rules. In short: hand-print your name and contact details on a 3 by 5 card and mail it to the dealership by the deadline for that giveaway.
