Join HWF and entomologist Mattie Gose for a family-friendly guided insect hike! We will explore the diversity of insects in the Woods, carefully catching and releasing insects to get a close-up look and learn more about identification skills. We will enter at the Stable on the Woods entrance (263 Rubins Cottage Ln) and hike 1.5-2 miles, taking plenty of breaks to observe insects - note that the trails here are sandy and hilly. There are no public restrooms or places to refill a water bottle, so please plan accordingly.
