Question 1

What does my ticket include?

Accepted Answer

Your ticket includes the complete Pouring for a Purpose experience: a guided tasting of five Alta Colina wines with owner Maggie Tillman, thoughtfully paired bites from The New Deal, and an afternoon of storytelling, connection and giving back in support of the Einstein Grace Foundation.

Question 2

Is this a drop-in wine tasting?

Accepted Answer

Pouring for a Purpose is designed as a complete experience from beginning to end. We encourage guests to arrive at 2 p.m. so you can enjoy the opening sparkling pour, food pairings, Foundation story and all five wines with us.

Question 3

Will food be served?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The New Deal is creating a selection of bites thoughtfully paired with the five Alta Colina wines. This is an afternoon wine and food experience, rather than a full meal.

Question 4

Can I purchase the wines I taste?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Alta Colina will have a limited quantity of each featured wine available for purchase at the event, so if you discover a favorite, you can take some home.

Question 5

Can I make an additional donation to the Einstein Grace Foundation?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Guests will have an opportunity to make an additional tax-deductible donation to the Einstein Grace Foundation during the event. You can also support the Foundation even if you’re unable to attend.

Question 6

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Come comfortable and ready to enjoy a beautiful afternoon! The event will take place outdoors on The New Deal’s back patio, so we recommend dressing for the November weather.

Question 7

Is my ticket tax deductible?

Accepted Answer

The Einstein Grace Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. A portion of your ticket price may be tax deductible to the extent it exceeds the fair market value of the goods and services provided at the event. Attendees will receive the appropriate tax information from the Foundation.
