Saddle up for a day of rodeo excitement the whole family can enjoy! The 37th Annual Myrtis Dightman Hall of Fame Youth Rodeo brings together talented young cowboys and cowgirls for competition, community, and unforgettable family fun.

Watch rising rodeo stars showcase their skills, build confidence, and compete for the opportunity to advance to the Youth National Finals in Las Vegas. Kids and families can enjoy the energy of live rodeo action while celebrating western culture, sportsmanship, horsemanship, and tradition.

The event honors legendary cowboy Myrtis Dightman, known as the “Jackie Robinson of Rodeo.” He made history as the first Black cowboy to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo and later qualified multiple times. His groundbreaking career opened doors for generations of Black cowboys and cowgirls.

Bring the family and join us for a proud celebration of Tradition, Heritage, Pride, and Youth Excellence as we honor Myrtis Dightman and cheer on the future stars of rodeo!
