Intuition & Ritual: A Day Retreat

Intuition & Ritual: A Day Retreat

Overview

This is a gathering for the Intuitives, Empaths, Creatives, and Almost-Witches — for one day, we step out of the doing and into the being.

An Invitation

This is a gathering for the intuitives, the empaths, the creatives, and the almost-witches — the ones who feel more than they can always explain, who sense things before they know them, who are drawn to ritual but haven't always had the space to reflect and build an intuitively driven rituals-based practice that's truly theirs.

For one day, we step out of the doing and into the being. Away from productivity, from action-mode, from the noise that drowns out the quiet knowing underneath. This is a slow, spacious day designed to help you reconnect with your intuition, identify how you specifically access it, and leave with a ritual practice that's flexible enough to live in your everyday life — not just this retreat.

What We're Here to Do

  • Connect with like-minded people in a setting that encourages real self-reflection
  • Find the flow, and trust the intuition underneath it
  • Leave with something tangible — not just a nice feeling, but a practice you can actually use
  • Shift, even briefly, from constant doing into a deeper state of being

The Flow of the Day

  • Grounding meditation to arrive and settle in
  • Icebreaker & connection — because this work lands deeper in community
  • Long-form experiential exploration — using small objects, trinkets, and creative modalities to notice and name your own process for accessing intuition, then sharing what you discover
  • Lunch (provided), rest, and social time
  • Self-guided window — with prompts for both indoor reflection and outdoor wandering
  • Integration & articulation — shifting from the creative and intuitive space back into cognitive awareness, and putting language to your process so you can name, label, and apply it going forward
  • Closing sound bath, held to integrate everything the day has opened up

Guided By

Amanda Mitchell Kawa, LCPC, BC-DMT — sensory awareness, embodiment and movement, and tuning into intuitive hints as they arise in the body

Ciera Shimkus, LCPC, REAT, RY-200 — the natural relationship between creative practices and intuition, sound bath facilitation for closing and integration

Rituals will serve as the anchor throughout — not rigid rules, but living practices you shape around your own intuitive process, ones you can return to long after the day ends.

Important Notes

This is a wellness-based session, not a therapy service. While it is facilitated by a licensed or license-eligible mental health professional, participation does not establish a client-therapist relationship.
