An evocative spoken word performance exploring the story of the Brechin witch trials, examining the lives of those accused and the wider themes of misogyny, justice and remembrance. Drawing on Len's work with the Witches of Scotland campaign and Peter's local knowledge, this conversational session offers a powerful and thought-provoking reflection on an often-overlooked chapter of local history.

The Witches of Brechin

An immersive storytelling experience bringing Brechin Cathedral's remarkable collection of Pictish stones to life. Drawing on Victoria's background in Celtic Studies, participants will discover the history, symbolism and folklore surrounding these ancient monuments, exploring how they continue to shape Scotland's cultural identity today.

Pictish Stones Experience

A gentle guided meditation within the unique surroundings of Brechin Cathedral;s Queen's Aisle, inviting participants to pause, reflect and connect with the centuries of history held within its walls. Designed to provide a calming, restorative experience inspired by the Cathedral's long-standing associations with healing and contemplation.
