How do I sign up to perform?

Accepted Answer

All performers must sign up in advance through Eventbrite. We no longer offer in-person sign-ups. If slots are full, you can still claim a waitlist ticket and may be added to the lineup if time allows.

How many performers are accepted each night?

Accepted Answer

We typically accept 15–20 total performers, including poets and musicians.
– 7 Poet Sign-Up tickets
– 3 Musician Sign-Up tickets
– A limited number of waitlist spots

Question 3

What if I’m on the waitlist?

Accepted Answer

Waitlist performers are not guaranteed a spot but will be added if time allows. Typically, 1–4 people from the waitlist get to perform.

Question 4

What time is check-in?

Accepted Answer

All performers—confirmed and waitlisted—begin check in at the stage at 7:30 PM. Check-In's after the start of show may not be honored.

Question 5

What are the performance limits?

Accepted Answer

– 1 poem, up to 3 minutes
– OR 1 song, up to 5 minutes

Are there any guidelines for content?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We value and protect our inclusive community. Discriminatory, hateful, or intentionally harmful content will not be tolerated. Please be mindful and respectful when sharing your work on stage. Have fun!
