Open Play Mahjong at Bird's Bookstore

Join Bird's Bookstore this fall for a series of four open play mahjong sessions in partnership with Mähj Mag. Sessions will be held every other Thursday —September 17th, October 1st, October 15th, and October 29th.

Players can sign up for one, two, or all sessions! Each session can accommodate 28 players. Come with your group or come solo and snuggle up among the bookshelves! Looking for people to play with? This is a great opportunity to meet other players! All experience levels welcome.

We'll be playing with beautiful travel sets from Bam Bird Boutique. Each ticket includes 2 hours of open play, tiles, and light snacks. BYOB encouraged.

The upcoming issue of Mähj Mag is all about the history and bustling mahjong scene in New York, and we'll have a curated table of New York-themed books to browse and shop during the event.
