Helping the Leash Reactive Dog Seminar (Yonge-Eglinton)
If you're struggling with a dog that barks and lunges at other dogs while out for leash walks, this in-person seminar is for you.
- Why is your dog reactive?
- What will it take to reduce your dog's reactivity and make your walks enjoyable again?
- What kind of training will you and your dog have to do?
- Can I help my dog's reactivity without relying on punishment and force? (YES you can!)
In this 2-hour seminar, you'll learn directly from Elena Bondar, CPDT-KA, and senior dog trainer at When Hounds Fly.
You'll participate in an interactive presentation that covers the key theoretical concepts and describes the steps you'll need to take to transform your dog.
Then, you'll follow along as Elena takes a reactive dog for a walk through dog hotspots in the neighbourhood, demonstrating the initial training exercises, live and unscripted.
After attending this seminar, you'll know so much!
Please note: Tickets are for individual humans, and Auditing Only spots mean humans only - so leave your dog at home! We will be doing live training demos with only 1 reactive dog while walking through dog-dense neighbourhood areas. You'll get to observe it live and in real-time, and ask questions.
We know how important this is to your dog, so we won't let you down. This event will occur rain or shine, so please dress for all weather conditions! (It never showers for more than 20 minutes in Toronto anyways!)
