IAO Collections Smelling Session: Men's Department (in person)

Minetta Rogers presents a smelling session of fine fragrances from “the men’s aisle of the perfumer counter." In person.

In this class, we will smell historically noteworthy and interesting perfumes from “the men’s aisle of the perfumer counter,” sourced from the Institute for Art and Olfaction’s collections. This smelling session will be supplemented by fragrance-related multimedia and in-class discussion.

Participants will get to smell a curated set of fine fragrances from the IAO Collections in a group setting. Our discussion will focus on the impressions of these scents as well as their concordance with the theme.

This session is a unique opportunity to smell and discuss otherwise inaccessible fine fragrances from deep inside our archives.

Note to returning students: If you have attended past smelling sessions, there may be some overlap with previous scents from earlier sessions.
