Strides of Joy 5K: BWTEotR Breast Health Walk & Wellness Fair
Celebrating Black Women, Breast Health, and Patient Power
Strides of Joy 5K is a breast health walk and wellness fair created with Black women at the center. We are walking for the women who raised us, the women walking through treatment now, the women who had to advocate for themselves in the exam rooms, and the women who deserve care that listens the first time.
This is a day to honor our bodies, our stories, our families, and our right to be heard. Come walk with us as we celebrate breast health, community care, and the power Black women carry when we know what we deserve.
We know breast health is not just about one appointment. It is about access, trust, transportation, follow-up, clear information, and being treated with dignity when we ask questions about our own bodies. This walk brings those pieces together through movement, wellness resources, community connection, and Patient Power.
