World Values Survey Launch 2026

What do Malaysians really value? And how have those values changed over time?

On behalf of the Asia School of Business and Monash University Malaysia, we are delighted to invite you to the World Values Survey Launch 2026.

The World Values Survey (WVS) is one of the world’s largest and most widely recognised cross-national studies of human values, beliefs and attitudes. Malaysia has participated in multiple WVS waves, providing valuable data on how Malaysians perceive and navigate a changing society.

For the first time in Malaysia, the findings will be brought together and presented through a dedicated WVS launch, offering an opportunity to explore what the data tells us about Malaysian society.

Drawing on findings from WVS Waves 6 and 7, the launch will uncover insights into how Malaysians perceive life satisfaction, society, relationships and other aspects of everyday life, while exploring how attitudes and values have evolved across generations and over time.

The event will also feature exclusive insights on Malaysian attitudes in the age of artificial intelligence, offering a timely look at how technology is shaping the way we think about our lives, work and society.
