Seattle Sauna Festival
Step into the steam—Seattle Sauna Festival brings saunas, cold plunges & Nordic vibes to the PNW!
Where Nordic Tradition meets Northwest Spirit.
The Seattle Sauna Festival is the Pacific Northwest’s largest-scale gathering dedicated to the art of sauna, wellness, and community connection. Hosted at the National Nordic Museum on November 7 & 8, this two-day celebration invites guests to step into the steam and experience the magic of sauna culture through sauna sessions, cold plunges, live music, and Nordic-inspired food and drinks.
Whether you’re brand-new to the tradition or a seasoned sauna lover, this festival is your chance to slow down, connect, and recharge in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Celebrate sauna culture with friends, discover local wellness brands, and experience the joy of gathering together in the glow of the heat.
This is your invitation to relax, renew, and celebrate sauna culture—Seattle style.
How does this work?
Purchase a ticket, which includes access to the saunas, cold plunges, and gathering spaces, as well as admission to the exhibits and galleries at the museum.
Arrive at the National Nordic Museum freshly showered with a bathing suit and towel for inside the saunas, a robe and flip-flops/easily removed shoes to wear outside of the saunas, and a water bottle to stay hydrated. We recommend coming already dressed to maximize sauna time, but we will have dressing rooms and small lockers available (just bring your own lock).
Enjoy the saunas, cold-plunge, hang out around the campfires, and try the delicious offerings at Freya.
Repeat as you like.
Depart feeling refreshed and relaxed.
