Join us on Saturday, August 8 at 5:00PM Eastern for our 14th installment of The 1619 Project: Community Conversations as we focus on MUSIC.There are many grievances regarding the actions taken by the current administration—too many to list individually. Many of you view our bookstore as a safe space to express your concerns and fears. In response, we have been active listeners and have provided support in various forms.To help galvanize our voices, we've launched Community Conversations, a monthly gathering to discuss the impact of current events. Using The 1619 Project as our guide, we will focus on the themes of each chapter to deepen our understanding of what is happening and how we can better equip ourselves during this challenging time. Where possible, we will have subject matter experts to lead the discussions, but we will also rely on each other’s insights.Join us for a special presentation as we focus on this month's topic of Music.
