Cacao Medicine Journey: Reconnecting to Our Inner Child/ren

Cacao has returned from the rainforest to awaken and heal humanity and reconnect us our joy!

This is the third ceremony in an empowering, powerful and progressive series of Cacao Medicine Journeys over four months (one/month) focused on: 1) Healing the Feminine/Mother Wound, 2) Healing the Masculine/Father Wound, 3) Reconnecting to our Inner Child/ren, 4) Integrating the Masculine and Feminine. Cacao is a magical master plant teacher, healer and guide. She is feminine in nature--unconditionally loving, compassionate and supportive--which is why she is referred to as Mama Cacao. She supports and holds us as we do our deep, inner work.

When we have not connected with, silenced or ignored our inner child/ren, we often don’t feel safe to be who we truly are. This wounding comes from various sources:

· relationship with our parents or guardians, where we did not receive what we needed

· having to grow up too fast too soon

· invalidation, criticism and not being seen or heard

· inconsistency, feeling abandoned

This wounding may show up as

· numbing to not feel or expressing big emotions over small things

· feeling unsafe and not at home within yourself

· ignoring your own needs

· critical self-talk

· lack of creative impulse or expression

· boundarylessness or setting hard, impenetrable boundaries

When we reconnect with our inner child/ren—there is more than one at several ages--we give ourselves what we didn’t receive, we learn how to self-validate, we rediscover our creativity and remember our joy.

This is deeply healing, embodied, reparenting work. Your commitment and courage will carry you as cacao holds you.

If you cannot attend due to timing, register to receive a recording of the opening and closing of ceremony and link to the playlist, so you can go on a journey with cacao on your own time.

We’ll gather virtually to drink cacao together, set an intention for our healing journey, create a cacao cocoon for the journey, which will include a guided meditation, shamanic drum journey and sacred music playlist.

Please login 15 minutes before the call begins and make your cacao keeping it warm in a thermal mug or ceramic mug with a lid.

Health Precautions: if you are on anti-depressant medication, have a heart condition, compromised liver or high toxin levels, please reduce the amount of cacao you make for yourself and listen to your body. If you are on a GLP-1, please know that your body will not absorb the active compounds in cacao as readily, so consider taking a break for a few weeks before.
