Creative, Crafty Gratitude Practice for the Full Harvest Moon
Spend a cozy evening making a collage that represents not what you want to bring into your life, but all the goodness you already have.
You may have heard about the trick of, instead of making a to-do list (things that make feel like a burden or obligation) make a ta-da list of things that you’ve already accomplished—because you’re so wonderful and just being you is enough and worth celebrating!
We’re going to do something similar for our practice today. Instead of making vision boards, which focus on what we want in our lives, we’re going to make collages that represent what we already have.
Sometimes in gratitude practices you have to dig deep to find what you’re grateful for, and that’s OK here too. If it’s hard to come up with things to celebrate, that’s what the group is here for. We can help you brainstorm, or just affirm the little things. All is welcome here.
Join others for a fun evening of reflecting and creativity. We’ll make collages featuring all the goodness we have in our lives to celebrate the Harvest Moon. A vision board is for looking ahead to what you want and this practice is the reverse: creating a visual representation of all that we already have.
Supplies will be provided, but please feel free to bring any magazines, paper, markers, scissors if you’d like!
