The program is structured to strengthen research efforts that seek to improve clinical outcomes for these groups by featuring leading experts in gastroenterology with demonstrated expertise in their unique needs.

The conference will recognize excellence among physician-investigators who are driving impactful research focused on muted and special populations. Through this emphasis, the gastroenterology community will gain deeper insight into the disease characteristics, progression, and prognosis within these often underrepresented groups.

Awardees will have opportunities to present emerging research concepts, build collaborative networks, and engage with established leaders in the field.
