Author Event: "Food is a Feeling" with Carla Lalli

Part cookbook, part memoir, Food is a Feeling explores the ways food becomes woven into our memories, relationships, rituals, and everyday lives. Through essays and recipes, Carla invites readers to cook with instinct, embrace imperfection, and find joy in gathering around the table.

To honor the spirit of the book, the evening has been designed as a little act of self-care.

Each guest will enjoy:

• A signed copy of Food is a Feeling
• A live reading by Carla
• A tasting moment inspired by the book
• The opportunity to sign up for a tarot reading during the event from one of two skilled tarot readers
• Access to Vesper's curated culinary bookstore throughout the evening

Our wine bar will be open for the duration of the event, offering wines by the glass, seasonal cocktails, and non-alcoholic selections available for purchase throughout the program.

To create a more intimate experience, the evening will be offered in two identical seatings:

• 6:00 PM Seating
• 8:00 PM Seating

Each seating includes the full program and is ticketed separately. Space is intentionally limited.

Whether you've followed Carla's work for years or are discovering her writing for the first time, this is an evening to slow down, savor something delicious, and celebrate the stories we tell through food and growth.
