We will define tantra and invite you into practices that explore our cultural conditioning where you decide your boundaries. Tantra is not in saying yes to a practice but in noticing how you feel whatever choice you make. By saying no, you are still doing tantra!

Yes. This will occur at a private retreat center. You are fully supported in choosing whatever level of dress or undress feels safe, empowering, and aligned for you in every single moment.

Wilder and Jim, SkyDancing Teachers in Training, are both deep in a training program to be fully certified  teachers. This has included several years of trainings, assisting at Love and Ecstasy Trainings, as well as international teacher training – having recently studied with Margot Anand in Bali.

Wilder Akasha works at the intersection of somatic healing, personal energy management, and sacred sexuality. Born in Taiwan and drawn to the transformational power of nature-based ceremony. Wilder co-founded the Hawai’i School of Tantra and also Cultivating Aliveness.

Jim Macdonald, focuses on tantra, dance, improvisation, and the chakras, working to create safer spiritual containers. He offers workshops, as well as coaching in tantra. with his partner Christine through Pink Rose Tantra. Jim, from Bozeman, Montana, offers local street dances and Yellowstone.

If this sounds right for you, if you are over the age of 18, and if you can respect the boundaries of others and of the space, we’d be delighted for you to attend Intro to Sacred Tantra. No prior tantra experience is required. You may attend by yourself or bring a partner with you.

We welcome everyone regardless of race, gender, and sexual orientation. While many practices involve the body and invite physicality, we will work with different abilities so that you can fully participate.

Intro to Sacred Tantra also fulfills a prerequisite should you choose to go onto the weeklong Love and Ecstasy Trainings offered by the SkyDancing Tantra Institute. These Love and Ecstasy Trainings teach the practices of SkyDancing Tantra designed by Margot Anand.

So, is this a SkyDancing Tantra Institute event?

No, weekend events by teachers are not official events of the institute. However, this nevertheless comes from that lineage and is a prerequisite offering for the Love and Ecstasy weeklong trainings for the Institute?

Where is this event being held?

O’Shea’s Place is ~30 minutes from the airport. This retreat center comes with a kitchen, sleeping accommodations, and temple space. It is also private! We will have it to ourselves, sharing it with no other group of people or visitors. Get there by car or Uber/Lyft. See https://osheas.place

Is food included?

Yes! During meals, you will get to know each other better while processing and integration. We will have nine meals together beginning Friday evening and concluding with lunch on Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday. All meals will be organic and specially prepared to meet your dietary needs.

Can I stay at O'Shea's Place?

Yes. The retreat center has options for private rooms for partners/couples. For solos or couples not needing a private room, we can offer shared bunkhouse bedrooms, and for indoor and outdoor camping. You can also stay offsite.

Can I stay offsite?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you may make private arrangements offsite provided you agree to eat meals onsite for the weekend and that you agree to arrive on time for all sessions, you may also make your own accommodations offsite (recognizing that we will typically end by 10pm in the evening and begin again at 8am).

What time do days begin and end?

Our first Friday (January 15) will begin at 5pm and end approximately 10pm. Saturday and Sunday begin at 8am and end at 10pm. Monday begins at 8am and ends at 1pm.

What is the refund policy?

Any registration that is fully executed before December 10, 2026 can be fully refunded. No refunds are available after December 10.

We will contact you and invite you to set up an interview with us. This connection call allows us to get to know each other, discuss what to expect, and answer any questions before we gather. Closer to the time of the retreat, we will contact all participants with instructions on what to bring.
