Only Make Believe(OMB) is a non-profit organization that creates and performs interactive theatre for children in hospitals, care facilities and special education programs throughout the country, free of charge to every family and child.OMB is dedicated to the principle that engaging a child’s imagination is a valuable part of healing and learning. Therefore, every child in our audience takes an active part in creating a world of fantasy and fun in order to transcend the boundaries of hospital walls.

Help us mend and create creative and fun costumes for children with disabilities and medically fragile conditions! No experience required.

OMB NYC Office

Only Make Believe brings interactive theatre to children in hospitals, care facilities, and schools dedicated to serving children with disabilities. We need YOUR help to bring fun, creative, show-ready costumes to these children!You will be mending and adding onto hats and masks that will encourage kids to use their imagination and enter a world of Make Believe during our shows.This after-work opportunity is a great way to give back to your community while enjoying an easy arts-and-crafts activity.<ul><li>No experience necessary</li><li>Registration required</li><li>Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult</li></ul>**These volunteer events are for individuals and small groups.
