Improv 700: Graduate Rehearsal and Performance

Collaboratively create and rehearse a 45-minute Improvised Long Form Show with one of UP's veteran improvisers for three weeks and then perform it for three more!

Welcome to the next level of your improvisation training! Come hone your individual and ensemble skills by working with a smaller ensemble and exploring new long-form formats. Collaborate with your classmates to create authentic characters, engaging scenes, and the type of improvisational theater that captivates your audience.

Improv 700 deliberately uses three weeks of rehearsals that encourage you focus on and enhance theatrical and improvisational skills, expose you to new long-forms, and experiment with subtlety and style. Those three rehearsal intensives are followed by three Wednesday shows on the main stage at the Market Theater, where you will have opportunities to showcase your new skills and learn from your stage experience.

The three rehearsals will be 7-9:30 in Georgetown. The three performances at the Market Theater, in Pike Place Market, have a 6:30 call time, followed by a 7-7:45 show, followed by notes from 7:45 - 8:15.
