The Czech Center New York actively promotes Czechia by showcasing Czech culture, innovations and creativity in the US. Our program includes concerts, screenings, exhibitions, panel discussions, and other events dedicated to a vast range of areas from visual and performing arts, film, literature, and music to architecture, design, fashion, and innovations. In addition to hosting our own events, we support and collaborate with other groups dedicated to intercultural initiatives in New York and beyond.The Event organizer has the right to refuse the attendees entrance to the venue despite previous registration due to capacity and security measures. Participants must arrive on time, in case of late arrival, the organizer cannot guarantee that your registration will still be valid.

Ivana is originally from Prague, where she studied languages at Charles University. She has worked as a translator, interpreter, and language teacher and has taught Czech at CCNY since moving to New York in 2010. She is passionate about creating a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and building confidence in Czech.

DISCLAIMERThis is the official form of registration form for the Fall Semester Czech Language Classes organized by the Czech Center New York (CCNY). The one-semester course consists of 15 online sessions each 90 minutes in length. The base price for the semester is $600. If you have taken a previous Czech Language Course at the CCNY, ask your instructor for the discount code that you can enter at check out for the discounted price of $550. If you register for free and opt to pay via check, you must send a check with the full payment prior to the first class.
