IGNITE YOUR CREATIVITY: INTRO TO PYROGRAPHY (WOODBURNING)

Ignite your creative passion and discover the art of woodburning in this beginner-friendly pyrography workshop. Throughout the session, you will create a charming mushroom design on a 7-inch natural basswood round, all while mastering the fundamental pillars of the craft. Students will be guided through every essential stage of the process, from prepping your wood surface with sandpaper, to sketching or transferring your artwork using graphite paper. Once your design is set, you’ll learn to handle a pyrography pen to execute clean outlines, smooth shading and rich textures. With no prior experience necessary and a full supply kit provided—including the wood slice, pencils and professional tools—this class offers everything you need to turn a simple spark of interest into a beautiful, handcrafted piece of art. (Ages 16+)

Payment will be processed and is required at the time of registration. Students are considered registered when tuition is paid in full.

Refund only possible if student withdraws by phone or in writing at least 10 days prior to the first class— NO EXCEPTIONS. If a student registers online, they will receive a refund minus the online registration fee.

If the class is cancelled by EFC, a full refund will be given. Students will be notified of any scheduling changes. We will contact students if class is cancelled due to severe weather and a make-up class will be scheduled.

Gift certificates are available for classes.
