Overview
Attend the best holiday ball of the season in your favorite costume from the past!
- Come on your own, bring a date, your family, or your friends. All the dances are mixers and you can dance with different partners all evening.
- Held in the charming candle lit venue of Jubilee Cottage at Goodwood Museum and Gardens. Matinee Ball 1-4 and the Evening Ball 6-11pm.
- The Dances, in the style of Bridgerton/Jane Austen, are taught and then called to the music so you can attend without prior dance experience.
- The Dress Code: All historical costume eras are welcome, including fantasy inspired costumes. (family friendly please ;)
- The Menu: Homemade meat pies, cakes, fruit pies and tarts, fresh fruit, traditional candies and nuts.
- Cold Drinks: Pear bubbly, lingonberry punch, and assorted wines.
- Hot Drinks: Coco, cider, and tea outside by the fire.
- Hosted by Sycamore Assembly English Country Dancers and Wild Avalon Art an Events
- Matinee Ball 1-4 pm: Recommended for ages `10-15
- Evening Ball 6-11pm: Recommended for 16 and up
