GAAHAS Field Trip: Kings Mountain Historical Museum

Join the Gastonia Architecture & History Appreciation Society on a field trip to the Kings Mountain Historical Museum! The tour includes a day of activities, please join us for any you like! Registration is required - see links below!

Tour day will include a private tour of the Kings Mountain Historical Museum, housed in the town's WPA Post Office built in 1940, and the Barber cabin, an early 19th century cabin reconstructed on the Museum's grounds. The tour will continue to the Nutty for Nutcrackers museum, housed in the historic Kings Mountain Herald building. The tour will lastly visit the Southern Arts Society, Inc. housed inside the town's historic train depot. A true walk through the history of Kings Mountain. I can't wait!

*We will break for lunch, which will not be provided. Tour guests are encouraged to visit any of downtown Kings Mountain's local restaurants, or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in Patriot Park, or any other outdoor locations.
