Learn about opportunities to support your local community and public safety!
Curious about ways to support your community through public safety? Join the Gilbert Police Department for an informative evening where you’ll learn about our volunteer programs and how you can get involved.
During this session, you’ll meet members of our team and hear details about three volunteer opportunities:
• Crisis Support Unit
• Gilbert Citizens on Patrol
• Administrative Support
We’ll walk you through the application process, explain responsibilities, and answer any questions you may have.
Volunteer Requirements:
• Administrative Support volunteers must be 18+
• Crisis Support Unit & Citizens on Patrol volunteers must be 21+
• All applicants must complete a background investigation, which includes fingerprints, polygraph, and drug screening
• Volunteers commit to eight hours per month for at least one year
Whether you're looking to give back, learn more about police operations, or connect with your community, this event is a great place to start.
