17th ASEF Forum in Conjunction with ASMI M&OE Symposium 2026

Background

The global maritime and offshore energy industries are undergoing one of the most significant transformations in recent decades. Beyond traditional shipping and offshore engineering activities, the sector is increasingly being reshaped by rapid technological advancements, decarbonisation requirements, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, automation, and evolving global supply chain dynamics.

Against this backdrop, the Association of Singapore Marine & Offshore Energy Industries (ASMI) will host the 17th ASEF Forum 2026 in Singapore in conjunction with the ASMI Marine & Offshore Energy Symposium 2026.

The symposium builds upon the progression of ASMI’s previous symposium editions:

• 2022: Offshore Wind and Energy Transition
• 2024: Digitalisation and AI Adoption in Marine & Offshore Energy

For 2026, the symposium will focus on the broader theme of future maritime industrial systems and the role of technology in shaping the next phase of maritime and offshore energy transformation.

The event will bring together maritime leaders, shipbuilding associations, offshore energy players, technology providers, policymakers, research institutions, and industry stakeholders from across Asia and beyond to exchange perspectives, showcase innovations, strengthen partnerships, and discuss practical pathways for the future maritime economy.

The 17th ASEF Forum / 3rd ASMI M&OE Symposium will provide a platform to exchange perspectives, strengthen regional and international partnerships, and identify practical pathways and business opportunities for the future maritime economy.
