Grand opening event for the Microelectronics Processing and Characterization Testing (MPaCT) Lab at Northern Arizona University.
Join the Arizona Commerce Authority, NAU President Cruz Rivera, the Steve Sanghi College of Engineering, and the College of the Environment, Forestry & Natural Sciences as they unveil the brand new Microelectronics Processing and Characterization Testing (MPaCT) Lab at Northern Arizona University.
Funded by an Arizona Commerce Authority grant, the MPaCT Lab is a shared research facility where students, researchers, businesses, and community partners can access advanced tools to study and build microelectronic devices and materials. By providing hands-on training and technology used in chip manufacturing and advanced materials research, the lab prepares students to meet the future workforce needs of Arizona’s growing semiconductor industry.
