Social Volunteer Event (Plant Swap Edition)

EcoShip is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that collects shipping materials from Chicagoland communities and distributes them to businesses and individuals for reuse.

Volunteers will help sort donations of packaging materials at our space in Avondale at 3248 N Pulaski Rd between 12:00pm-1:30pm. The Plant Swap kicks off afterwards for volunteers, who can mingle and trade anything plant related they might want to swap for something different: house plants, cuttings, pots, seedlings, gardening equipment, or any other plant accessories. If you want to volunteer with other plant enthusiast but don’t have anything to contribute, you will still leave with a small plant to propagate!

Arrival/Parking: There is a lot of paid street parking on Pulaski Rd and Milwaukee Ave. Free street parking can be found further west on Melrose St and School St.

All ages are welcome! Minors ages 15 and under must be supervised by any adult throughout the entire event. Minors ages 16 and 17 must have their guardian email us for a waiver before the event.
