Starburst Concert: Gianna Beckford & Nihar Bhavsar with Paul Posnak

Great music in a great venue – La Merced Chapel with its newly installed hand carved ceiling and pews – and more! Plus, this season's Starburst Concert features two outstanding young South Florida musicians on their way to professional careers. Gianna Beckford, formerly a principal violist at Dillard High School now studying at FIU, has performed twice with the New World Symphony in its Side-by-Side program, among many major achievements. Clarinetist Nihar Bhavsar, now studying at University of Miami Frost School of Music, has performed at Carnegie Hall, Sala Sao Paulo, the Kravis Center, and as principal clarinetist at Equity Arc National Pathways Festival Orchestra in Washington DC.
