Accelerator for Cancer Therapeutics (ACT) Information Session

Online event
Overview

Interested in taking your cancer research to the next level?

Join us to learn how to become a part of the next cohort of the Accelerator for Cancer Therapeutics (ACT), a CPRIT-funded program that helps academic investigators and entrepreneurs navigate the commercialization milestones between breakthrough science and a successful biotech company.

Learn how ACT provides:

  • Expert mentorship from entrepreneurs, biotech executives, and scientific leaders
  • Grant writing support for CPRIT and SBIR/STTR funding
  • Access to the TMCi Computational Chemistry Core and other CPRIT-supported resources
  • A structured curriculum covering drug development, fundraising, IP, business strategy, and investor readiness

Attend this information session to learn about the program, eligibility requirements, the application process, and timeline. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the TMC Innovation ACT team.

Applications open in October, with the 2027 cohort beginning in January.
