This lantern workshop is for the <a href="https://www.weirdgonepro.com/atlanta-beltline-lantern-parade" title="https://www.weirdgonepro.com/atlanta-beltline-lantern-parade" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade</a> on September 19!Let's make a flying saucer alien invasion to go with the Common Sky Collective, a parade ensemble marching with <a href="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;source=web&amp;rct=j&amp;opi=89978449&amp;url=https://www.mausikiscalescommonground.com/&amp;ved=2ahUKEwjUvoGKjPmVAxV5zskDHYroOMYQFnoECB0QAQ&amp;usg=AOvVaw0SpXNRkpj1Q6wUihvcyXSh" title="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;source=web&amp;rct=j&amp;opi=89978449&amp;url=https://www.mausikiscalescommonground.com/&amp;ved=2ahUKEwjUvoGKjPmVAxV5zskDHYroOMYQFnoECB0QAQ&amp;usg=AOvVaw0SpXNRkpj1Q6wUihvcyXSh" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mausiki Scales and the Common Ground Collective</a>! Look for the moon and the stars at line-up. These flying saucers are easy and made from a 16” paper lanterns that we will decorate with paper and glue. The pilot is a little paper puppet on a stick! These are best for folks old enough to use scissors. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Tickets are per lantern. (A child an and adult can work together on one lantern with one ticket.) All materials are provided including lights and batteries. The Lee+White entrance is on White St. Make a left and go all the way to the Lee St. end. We are undeneath the dentist and chiropractor. Look for the red Krewe flag. We line-up at 7:15 on Tift Ave &amp; Lucile St. at Adair Park II and step-off at 8:00pm. It's a 1.4 mile walk to the finish at Lee + White.This workshop is with lantern parade artist, Chantelle Rytter, founder of the Beltline Lantern Parade and several others.
