Small Town Seniors Free Expo with Workshops - Mineola in East Texas
Multiple times November 11th - Free resources, entertainment, gifts and professional advice for seniors, their caregivers & their families.
This free community event connects seniors, caregivers and families with trusted local resources for health, safety, financial well-being, Medicare, aging in place, senior living, technology and travel. The expo is held indoors. Some of the workshops include Never Get Scammed, a senior scam prevention talk, Outliving your Money, Medicare updates, Yoga for Seniors- with a chair yoga option, Healthy Alternatives and the newest technological advances that affect older adults. There is music, dancing & learning!
The November 11th Expo is open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Admission is free.
Small Town Seniors makes it easy for seniors and families in the area to find reputable professionals, helpful services and practical answers in one place. Attendees will meet local providers, ask questions, gather information, attend short workshops and learn about services that can help them plan, stay independent, protect themselves and improve their quality of life.
