A solo art show built on dry bones & gardens. Experience testimony, color, and resurrection in EaDo.
There's a valley in the book of Ezekiel where the prophet stands over a field of dry bones and God asks him one question: can these dry bones live again?
Houston-based chaplain, poet, and multidisciplinary artist Estee Marie (@artbyesteemarie) has spent years wrestling with that question. Days before she steps into 40, she's opening the doors to Wave After Wave — a solo exhibition built from testimony, color, and the particular kind of resurrection that only comes after apathy tried to bury you. Bones catching breath. A grave becoming a garden.
This isn't a traditional gallery show. It's a private art house turned sanctuary in Houston's EaDo, built as a walk through Estee's own Grave turned to Garden — one room, one expression, at a time.
