BEGINNING OIL PAINTING CLASS

This 8-Week Tuesday Morning class will cover the basics of composition, value, color mixing, mark making with brush and palette knife, and how to have fun while learning! Each class will start with a short lecture and demo. Speed painting and sketching drills are not just a blast but will help work out possible problems ahead of painting. You will end up creating several studies and one or more of your own masterpieces from a favorite photo, each working at your own pace.

A Materials List will be provided prior to the start of class.

Payment will be processed and is required at the time of registration. Students are considered registered when tuition is paid in full.

Refund only possible if student withdraws by phone or in writing at least 10 days prior to the first class— NO EXCEPTIONS. If a student registers online, they will receive a refund minus the online registration fee.

If the class is cancelled by EFC, a full refund will be given. Students will be notified of any scheduling changes. We will contact students if class is cancelled due to severe weather and a make-up class will be scheduled.

Gift certificates are available for classes.
