Polaris Pour: Bourbon at the Gate | Friday Night Kickoff

The weekend begins with an elevated Friday evening experience designed for bourbon enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike - blending education, exceptional flavor and unforgettable atmosphere. From 6–7 p.m., guests are invited to explore the art of bourbon through two intimate seminars featuring expert-led discussions, guided tastings and stories behind some of today’s most celebrated pours. Discover the craftsmanship, heritage and tasting notes that make each bourbon unique while deepening your appreciation for the spirit.

At 7 p.m., the celebration continues on Flat Iron Plaza with an immersive opening reception under the Colorado sky. Guests will enjoy a chef-curated culinary experience paired alongside premium selections from 8–10 distinguished bourbon, wine and spirit partners. From bourbon-infused creations and elevated small plates to indulgent desserts and handcrafted ice cream, every bite is thoughtfully designed to complement the evening’s featured pours.

As the night unfolds, guests are invited to continue the celebration at The Aviator rooftop bar, where participating brands will showcase exclusive selections and specialty pours in a lively rooftop setting overlooking the Academy skyline.
