Fraud comes in many colors and clever disguises—learn how to see through the deception and protect what matters most.
Scammers often hide behind a colorful disguise—posing as trusted professionals, family members, government agencies, charities, tech support, and even romantic interests. Their tactics are creative and constantly changing, but their goal remains the same: to deceive and steal. Sponsored by SouthState Bank, this engaging panel discussion will bring together local experts, including the Marion County Sheriff's Office, to expose today's most common scams targeting older adults. Through real-life examples and practical advice, you'll learn how to recognize red flags, protect your finances, and confidently see through the scams.
Admission is FREE, and light lunch will be provided for registered guests. Limited spots are available, so registration is required to attend.
