The Austin Veterans Parade is a long-standing tradition dedicated to honoring military service and promoting community unity.
Join us for the 2026 Austin Veterans Parade on Saturday, November 7, 2026, as we celebrate this year's theme, “Veterans Helping Veterans and Their Families.”
The Austin Veterans Parade steps off at 9:00 AM from the Congress Avenue bridge, traveling north along Congress Avenue toward the Texas Capitol.
Beginning at 10:00 AM, veterans, service members, military families, and community members are invited to visit the Veterans Resource Event and connect with organizations providing services, programs, and resources throughout Central Texas.
The morning concludes with the official Veterans Ceremony at 11:00 AM on the South Steps of the Texas Capitol, honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans.

Participant Check-In & Staging
Parade participants, vehicles, organizations, JROTC/ROTC units, and other registered groups arrive and report to their assigned staging areas.

Veterans, service members, families, and community members can begin visiting participating organizations and resource providers in the Capitol area. The resource event can operate while the parade is finishing.
