Will the model be nude?

Yes.  This is a 15+ private event and is suitable for High School students and older.

Question 2

Can I bring a friend?

Of course! Life drawing is more fun with art buddies! NEW: We are offering a limited number of 2 for 1 art student tickets. That said, please make sure your friends have their own tickets.

Question 3

Is it okay to arrive late and/or leave early?

Accepted Answer

YES, but please let us know if you plan to arrive late and someone will buzz you in. You can stay as long as you like, but we ask that you arrive and exit quietly so as not to distract others.

Is there parking available?

Limited street parking is available on and around Folsom Street.

Question 5

What else should I bring?

Plan to bring a drink and/or a snack. We take short breaks every 20 mins. for both the artists and the model. Coffee is available at nearby Cafe Dento (1339 Folsom) and Sightglass (270 7th st).

Question 6

Can I take pictures of the model or the class?

Please respect the privacy of both the model and the attendees. NO Photography of any kind will be allowed during the model sessions.

Where do you find your models?

Accepted Answer

I work with the Bay Area model guild who hire out professional models. Many of the models are dancers or artists themselves.

Is a tip expected?

Tips for the model, though not required, are greatly appreciated. Modelling for 3 hours is hard work!
