Orchestra Miami is Miami's premiere professional orchestra! Founded in 2006 by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi, Orchestra Miami exists to fill the unique cultural needs of our community. Our goal is to provide low-cost, high-quality artistic experiences that build community & provide programming which would otherwise be unavailable in South Florida. Equally important, is to produce high-quality concerts which everyone can afford, and to provide children & their families opportunities to experience classical music, & use it as a tool for learning and enjoyment. Orchestra Miami presents the ultimate New Year’s Eve Celebration- an unforgettable, family-friendly, free beachfront concert of Beethoven’s Symphony N. 9 (Ode to Joy), performed by Orchestra Miami, Miami's premiere professional orchestra. Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi leads an all-star line-up of soloists, including international operatic sensations Elaine Alvarez, soprano, Marianne Cornetti, mezzo-soprano, Russell Thomas, tenor &amp; Kevin Short, bass. Bring the whole family to this free, outdoor event. Festivities begin at 7 PM and the fun continues to midnight ending with a spectacular fireworks display! The event takes place on the beach between 21st and 22nd streets- bring a blanket or a beach chair. The concert is free and open to all, with donations gratefully accepted. For patrons who wish to have reserved seating, VIP packages are available for purchase:$300 per person: patrons will receive reserved premium seating, reserved parking space, complimentary bar access , complimentary self-service dining and, champagne toast at midnight!$150 per person: patrons will receive reserved parking, reserved seating, access to cash bar, concessions available for purchaseFor more information about this concert and other Orchestra Miami events, please visit www.OrchestraMiami.org or call (305) 274-2103.
