Join Erin Davis at the Museum of Printing for a hands-on experience in Letterpress Printing!
This one-day 5-hour workshop is open to all levels of experience in letterpress printing. Students will print a poster using wood type from our collection and have the option of choosing a variety of preprinted backgrounds to complete their poster. At the end of the workshops students will have a 12” x 18” poster.
Students who have successfully completed two workshops, are Museum of Printing members in good standing, and have been checked out on the equipment can use the Museum’s Letterpress Studio on open days, with advance notice, and by arrangement.

Erin Davis is a Boston-based designer and printmaker. Her work celebrates some of the most basic loves of civilization: food, drink, and company. She prints under the name Wilding Davis & Co. using letterpress and screen printing techniques. Her work has been displayed all over the country, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Hatch Show Print at the Country Music Hall of Fame, and dozens of other galleries across the USA. Erin teaches letterpress courses at MassArt and is a MassArt alumna.
