Learn the principles of narrative longform improv while planning the biggest heist this town has ever seen.
About This Class
You want to learn the principles of narrative longform improv from beginning to end. You also want to infiltrate the city’s most well-guarded museum to steal a priceless diamond. At last, a class has arrived that will teach you both!
In One Last Job, we’ll learn and practice all the essential elements of an improvised play: multiple storylines, character archetypes, first-person monologues. And we’ll study it all through the lens of the heist genre, from the planning stages right up until It All Goes Wrong. The show culminates in a graduation showcase performance where we find out if your crew can pull off the theft of the century.
Dates, Times, Places
- Mondays 19–21:00, 24 Sept–12 Nov, except 22 October (7 weeks) @ Q-Factory, Atlantisplein 1
- Graduation showcase: Thursday 19 November @ Mike’s Badhuistheater
Funny side perk: This class is skipping 22 October, due to Maestro at Mike’s Badhuistheater. Students in this class will have first priority to play in that show!
