Crafting Resilience is a community-focused pop-up celebrating sewing as a tool for creativity, connection, and resilience. We offer free and paid workshops that make sewing approachable for everyone.At markets and festivals, our booth features handmade, upcycled, and crochet goods—stitched patches, accessories, small home items, and original textile art—crafted from reclaimed and vintage materials.New this season, if there is interest we can plan for a Mending Pop-Up that lets visitors bring a small item for simple repairs, visible mending demos, or quick hands-on guidance.Guests can browse, shop, watch live stitching, try a few stitches, and learn about upcoming classes and community workshops. Crafting Resilience is a space to slow down, make something meaningful, and celebrate handmade craft.

Whether you’re sewing, mending, embroidering, sketching, collaging, knitting, crocheting, or working on another portable creative project, you’re invited to pull up a chair and create alongside others while The Codebreaker plays in the background.About the FilmThe Codebreaker tells the remarkable true story of Elizebeth Smith Friedman, a pioneering cryptanalyst whose brilliant codebreaking work helped convict notorious bootleggers during Prohibition and dismantle a vast Nazi spy network during World War II. Despite transforming the fields of cryptography and national security, her contributions remained largely unrecognized for decades.This inspiring documentary highlights the power of perseverance, intelligence, and determination while celebrating a woman whose work changed history. It’s a fascinating story of resilience, innovation, and the lasting impact one person can have behind the scenes.English subtitles will be enabled for accessibility.This is not a class—it’s a community crafting space.
