Riverstone Wicked Fun Run 5K

Runners can lace up their shoes while helping children in need do the same when the Riverstone Wicked Fun Run 5K returns, 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26th.

Timed competitive and non-competitive waves, as well as a 1k kid’s run, begin at The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard. The fee is $35 for competitive racers, $25 for non-competitive racers and $15 for the kids’ run.

Participants can choose to donate new kids’ tennis shoes of equal value to St. Laurence in lieu of race fees. When registering, be sure to select shoe donation and continue with your registration. Shoes can be dropped off at The Club at Riverstone (18353 University Blvd. Sugar Land, TX 77479) Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

T-shirts, water, fruit and healthy snacks will be provided. The post-race awards party includes a photo booth, DJ, bounce houses, face painters and more. All proceeds benefit St. Laurence, a charity providing shoes to children in need.

Prizes will be awarded to those who place 1st, 2nd & 3rd for men and women separately.
